Cory Gardner is running one of the best GOP U.S. Senate races in the country — if not THE best. And his most recent ad saying Mark Udall’s a “real nice guy” is a terrific spot that appears positive on its face but then manages to gut Udall by noting Udall and his family are all politicians — the family business, actually.
Meanwhile Gardner notes his Dad sells tractors. Ouch.
If Gardner wins, and I believe he will, this spot will have gone a long way to making it happen by emphasizing in an incredibly clever way that Udall is part of the problem.
